Tim Marshall is a technician at CSM’s School of Graphic of Industrial Design, here is a selection of photographs taken during his regular visits to Rome. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

Illustration alumna, Lucy Campbell, has been selected to show her photographic series, ‘Camp Bling’, as part of ‘Fresh Faced & Wide Eyed 2010, an exhibition of finalists for this annual competition.

‘Camp Bling’ is a photographic series documenting the road protest camp towards the end of their journey.

‘Fresh Faced & Wide Eyed 2010’ is on at the Photographer’s Gallery until 6th June 2010, 16 – 18 Ramillies Street, London W1F 7LW.

Fingers crossed for Ozant who graduated last year.

The Honorary Judging Committee, comprising world-renowned photographers, curators, representatives from leading international photo agencies and picture editors came together in London to make their selection from over 80,000 professional and amateur photography submissions.

The Sony World Photography Awards is a truly global competition with submissions received from every corner of the globe. This year?s shortlist includes a number of Sony World Photography Awards winners and finalists from previous years including Robin Utrecht, winner in the Sports category in 2008; Wojciech Grzedzinski, winner in Current Affairs in 2009 and Edgar Martins, finalist in Conceptual and Constructed in 2009.

Congratulations to Ozant Kamaci, second year photography student on the MA Communication Design course for winning the AOP Student Photographer of the Year 2009.

A select panel of photographers, art directors and photographer’s agents awarded Oz the prize for his ‘Pause’ series, a collection of aeroplane photographs taken around Heathrow.

The exhibition including Oz’s work runs to 5th June at The Association of Photographers Ltd, 81 Leonard Street, London EC2A 4QS.
