MA Fashion 2010

Harrods Award joint winner: Lilly Heine
22 MA Fashion students showed their collections at Somerset House last Sunday (21 February) during London Fashion Week.
Eminent fashion journalist Sarah Mower observed that ”it pushed silhouettes to new attenuatedly elegant proportions,” and noted the “precociously professional standards production and finish.” Susannah Lau of Dazed Digital and Style Bubble commented that it felt like the start of something new.
The words of Alexander McQueen reflecting on his time at Central Saint Martins opened the show. The Harrods award was split between Jackie LS Lee and Lilly Heine. Rok Hwang won the L’Oréal Professionel Creative Award for his collection.

Refreshing presentation. The seeming simplicity of photos show a lot of promise. Way to go!

Congratulations to everyone – all the tutors, and all the newly graduated students who were involved in the M.A. Degree Fashion Show last week…it was a marvellous show and I wish everyone who worked so hard to get their ideas shown, all the best for the future…
